SMA-male to FME-male Adapter for Antenna Cables

RF ADAPTER: FME MALE to SMA male for antenna cable:

RF ADAPTER FME MALE-to-SMA male for antenna cable-Infographic

  • This adapter has an FME (male) connector on one end and an SMA (male) connector on the other.

Engineered for versatility, this adapter seamlessly connects devices with SMA male and FME (female) interfaces, including antennas, antenna cables, and a wide array of wireless devices. It's your go-to solution for extension, coaxial interface conversion, and retrofit applications, instilling confidence in its compatibility with your devices. With a robust nickel-plated brass body, this adapter is a reliable choice, offering enhanced corrosion resistance. The weather and corrosion-resistant nickel plating ensures the longevity of this adapter, while the gold-plated center contact minimizes signal loss, providing reassurance about its long-lasting performance. This antenna cable adapter is designed to meet a wide range of applications with a frequency band compatibility from 0 to 18GHz and a 50-ohms impedance matching. Its versatility makes it suitable for various uses, ensuring it can adapt to different needs.

Rest assured; this adapter is compatible with all Helium miners used in Europe, including Bobcat miners, Sensecap miners, and all other Helium LongFi miners. All our antenna cables and adapters with SMA-male connectors share this compatibility. FME (For Mobile Equipment) is a miniature 50-ohm RF connector with excellent performance from DC to 2.0 GHz. FME primarily uses RG-58 or equivalent coaxial cables in mobile applications and installations. FME female's narrow, cone-like shape allows FME cables to be snaked through the often tight access holes or spaces of a vehicle to the desired equipment location(s) where an FME male adapter to the required equipment connector series is fitted to the female cable connector.

SMA male connectors: Characteristics

The gender refers to the pins inside, not the threads. An SMA male has threads inside—more details regarding the SMA gender determination.

Insertion loss: 0.26 dB maximum

Rest easy knowing that all our antenna cables and RF adapters, including this one, are made of heavy metals and are fully compliant with RoHS and REACH regulations, ensuring their safety and quality.
