N-female To RP-SMA female Cable

Antenna Cable / Adapter with RP-SMA female connector on one end and an N-female connector on the other.

  • We stock many more RP-SMA to N-type cable options.
  • This cable is rated for outdoor use and proves its worth indoors, making it a versatile choice for your connectivity needs. See our mounts for antennas with N-female connectors.
  • The length refers to the cable size between the connectors (not including the connectors).
  • Our N-female to RP-SMA female cable is a versatile solution for interconnecting various devices with RP-SMA male and N-male interfaces. It's ideal for antennas, antenna cables, and wireless devices. Whether you need a coaxial extension for better antenna positioning, a coaxial interface conversion, or a coax retrofit application, this cable is perfect.
  • This includes antennas, antenna cables, and wireless devices. For coaxial extension (for better antenna positioning), coaxial interface conversion, and coax retrofit applications.

Rest assured, our high-quality soldered terminations of RP-SMA and Type-N connectors with soldering provide a low-loss connection, keeping discontinuities to a minimum and ensuring reliable performance.

The two lengths come in different thicknesses of coaxial cable: Both are double-shielded, rated for outdoor use, and suitable for indoor use.

  • The 10-inch version is an LMR-100-equivalent cable type. Equivalent or better than LMR100: It has the same or better signal loss per meter and flexibility as LMR100 and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG174 and RG178. The higher quality of the cable of this antenna translates into lower loss/better performance. The cable is equivalent to LMR-100 in thickness: Very flexible/easily bendable.
  • The 18-inch version is LMR-200 and has much lower attenuation (signal loss) than LMR-100 and RG58. Flexible and bendable.
  • The double-shielding of both LMR-100 and LMR-200 enables low signal loss. This means the cable can maintain a strong, clear signal over long distances. Both are flexible and easily bendable (LMR-100 is more flexible and bendable), making them easy to install and maneuver. Double-shielding is a significant factor in the higher quality of this cable, which translates into lower loss and better performance. See a comparison of LMR-100 and LMR-200 attenuation (signal loss).
  • Both coaxial cable types have a black jacket.

LMR-100 and LMR200 cable comparison

The temperature range for the operational use of these cable assemblies is as follows:

  • Cables with 100-series coax: -22 F ~ +185 F (-30 C ~ +85 C)
  • Cables with 200-series coax: -31 F ~ +203 F (-35 C ~ +95 C)

Compatibility with wireless applications: Our RP-SMA-male to N-male cable' range of frequency band compatibility (from 0GHz to 18GHz), consistently low broadband VSWR, and impedance matching to 50 Ohm gear makes them compatible and compliant for all the following applications:

N-female Connector Characteristics and Details:

  • Durable, weatherproof connection
  • The N-female-bulkhead connector has a rubber O-ring, which provides a water-tight seal when installed in an enclosure port.
  • Nickel-plated brass body for enhanced corrosion resistance: Nickel plating is the most weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant metal plating.
  • Our N connectors provide a consistent performance from 900MHz to 12.5 GHz.
  • N-Female diameter is 0.620 inches (1.57 cm). N-male inside diameter is 0.620-inch (1.57 cm)
  • N-connector gender is counter-intuitive:
  • N-type connectors are the largest RF connector types and are usually found on large antennas, especially for outdoor use.
  • Our N-Type connectors feature threaded coupling mechanisms and are fully interchangeable with N-Type connectors made to the MIL-C-39012 specification. These connectors are used in all systems with critical RF and mechanical performance.

N materials composition:

  • Connector Body: Nickel-Plated Brass
  • Center Contact: Beryllium Copper, Gold Plated
  • Crimp Ferrule: Copper, Nickel Plated
