N-female To RP-SMA female Cable

Antenna Cable / Adapter with RP-SMA female connector on one end and an N-female connector on the other end.

The two lengths come in different thicknesses of coaxial cable: Both are double-shielded, both are rated for outdoor use and are also suitable for indoor use.

  • 10-inch version is LMR-100-equivalent cable-type: Equivalent or better than LMR100: Has the same or better signal-loss-per-meter and flexibility as LMR100 , and and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG174 and RG178. The higher quality of the cable of this antenna translates into lower loss/better performance. Cable is equivalent to LMR-100 in thickness: Very flexible/easily bendable
  • 18-inch version is LMR-200: has much lower attenuation (signal loss) than LMR-100 and RG58. Flexible and bendable.
  • Double-shielding of both LMR-100 and LMR-200 enables low signal loss. Both are flexible/easily bendable (LMR-100 is more flexible/bendable). The double-shielding is a major factor in the higher quality of this cable, which translates into lower loss/better performance.

  • Both coaxial cable types have a black jacket.

The temperature range for operational use of these cable assemblies are as follows:

  • Cables with 100-series coax: -22 F ~ +185 F (-30 C ~ +85 C)
  • Cables with 200-series coax: -31 F ~ +203 F (-35 C ~ +95 C)

N-female connector with embedded o-ring

  • Durable, weatherproof connection
  • The N-female-bulkhead connector has a rubber O-ring, which provides a water-tight seal when installing in an enclosure port.
  • Nickel-plated brass body for enhanced corrosion resistance: Nickel plating is the most weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant metal plating.
  • Our N connectors provide a consistent performance from 900MHz to 12.5 GHz.
  • N-Female diameter is 0.620-inch (1.57 cm). N-male inside diameter is 0.620-inch (1.57 cm)
  • N-connector gender is counter-intuitive:.
  • N-Type connectors are the largest of the RF connector types, and are usually found on large antennas, especially for outdoor use.
  • Our N-Type connectors feature threaded coupling mechanisms and are fully interchangeable with N-Type connectors made to the MIL-C-39012 specification. These connectors are used in all systems where excellent RF and mechanical performance is critical.

RP-SMA Female Version Options RP-SMA Elongated
The version of the RP-SMA female connector on the left has an embedded o-ring, together with a wider flange, for more secure protection against intrusion of water and/or dust and dirt. It is available for some cable versions on this page, and others by special order. The longer RP-SMA-female version (top in photo) has a 14.5mm threaded section. RP-SMA Female Connector Characteristics and Details

  • RP-SMA female connector includes a bulkhead nut and washer:
  • The length of our standard RP-SMA-female connector (threaded part) is 3/8 inches. We have a longer option: 14.5mm, which is available as an option. The longer 14.5mm option has an O-ring embedded in the flange to waterproof the port where the cable enters a network enclosure

RP-SMA female diameter:

  • RP-SMA female outside diameter is 5/16" (7.9375mm): Accommodates a hex nut (bulkhead nut) with 5/16" nominal outer diameter
  • RP-SMA male inside diameter is 5/16" (7.9375mm) (the inside diameter where the threads are).
