N-male to RP-SMA-male Adapter for Antenna Cable
RF Adapter: RP-SMA male to N-Type male
- Our RF adapters and connectors offer a versatile solution, enabling the interconnection of devices with N male and RP-SMA male interfaces. Whether antennas, antenna cables, or wireless devices, our products are designed to adapt to your needs seamlessly.
- Nickel-plated brass body for enhanced corrosion resistance: Nickel plating is the most weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant metal plating.
- The gold-plated center contact is used to reduce signal loss.
- It is used for extension, coaxial interface conversion, and retrofit applications.
- They are rated for outdoor use and suitable for indoor applications.
Compatibility with wireless applications:
Our high-performance RF antenna cable adapters ensure seamless integration with wireless technologies, thanks to their 0GHz–18GHz frequency support, low VSWR, and 50 Ohm impedance compatibility. These features make them suitable for all WiFi bands at 2.4GHz and 8GHz, supporting Wi-Fi HaLow 802.11AH, 802.11AX, 802.11AC, 802.11N, 802.11G, 802.11B, and 802.11A. A typical use case for N-type connectors, cables, and adapters is in the Wi-Fi domain. Devices designed according to IEEE 802.11 standards—such as 802.11ax, 802.11ac, g, n, and b—frequently use N-type-female ports for linking to external antennas in outdoor environments. They also work flawlessly with LTE / 4G, GSM / 3G, and WiMax cellular networks for both data and voice. Whether it's IoT connectivity or M2M applications, our cables meet the demands of Bluetooth, ZigBee, WiFi HaLow, RFID, LoRa, LTE-m, and NB-IoT, WiFi 6, WiFi 6E. They're also fully compatible with North American Helium miners, including Bobcat miners, Sensecap miners, and other Helium LongFi models—as are all our RP-SMA-male antenna cables and adapters.
Adapter materials composition:
- The body is composed of nickel-plated brass for its corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
- PTFE is used as the dielectric insulator due to its high electrical stability.
- The center contact is gold-plated beryllium copper, selected for conductivity and signal quality.
- A copper ferrule, plated in nickel, is included to maintain structural support
- Weatherproofing for long-term outdoor exposure.
Rest assured, our antenna cables and adapters are fully compliant with industry standards. They meet the stringent requirements of RoHS 3 and REACH , ensuring the absence of heavy metals and other toxins in our products.
N-female Connector Characteristics and Details: Durable, weatherproof connection
- N-Type connectors are the most extensive RF connector types and are usually found on large antennas, especially for outdoor use.
- Our N connectors provide a consistent performance from 900MHz to 12.5 GHz.
- Our N-type adapters feature threaded coupling mechanisms and are fully interchangeable with N-type connectors made to the MIL-C-39012 specification. These connectors are used in all systems with critical RF and mechanical performance.
- N-Female diameter is 0.620 inches (1.57 cm). N-male inside diameter is 0.620-inch (1.57 cm)
RP-SMA Connector Characteristics and Details
- RP-SMA Gender Determination: Key Points
- RP-SMA gender is counter-intuitive.
- The gender is referring to the pins inside-not the threads. RP-SMA male has threads on inside.
- RP-SMA male has a socket inside rather than a pin, as you might expect, because the RP stands for "Reverse Polarity". The socket/pin configuration is female when it appears to be male, and vice versa.
Insertion loss: 0.26 dB maximum
