Omni directional dipole antenna: Radiates signal with a beam of 360 degrees; also receives signal from 360 degrees around it.
Compatibility with wireless standards & applications: This omni directional antenna's range of frequency band compatibility in the 2.4 ~ 2.5GHz frequency band range, its very low broadband VSWR at < 1.5 (lower VSWR is better), and impedance matching to 50 Ohm gear, makes it suitable and compliant for all the following applications:
- IoT wireless & M2M: Bluetooth, ZigBee, Wi-Fi HaLow and ISM. Since it is vertically polarized, it is compatible with many machine to machine communication applications, remote monitoring, and telemetry applications.

The VNA chart shows that the antenna is well-matched at 2.431 GHz, with a return loss of –19.68 dB and a near-optimal SWR (~1.25:1). The Smith chart indicates an impedance close to 50 ohms, confirming efficient power transfer at this frequenc.
The chart shows that at 2.431 GHz, the antenna achieves a return loss of –17.90 dB and an SWR of 1.292, indicating low signal reflection and good impedance matching. The multiple dips in the SWR curve suggest the antenna may support multiband operation, with strong performance particularly in the 2.4 GHz ISM band.

The articulating (bendable) right-angle isn’t weatherproof: Water can seep into the angled part of the antenna. Articulating right-angle antennas are therefore recommendable for indoor use or protected outdoors, i.e. under an eave.
