SMA-male To SMA-female Panel-Mount Jack
You can choose a straight or right-angled SMA male connector for the SMA-male end (which is not the panel-mount end).
The SMA cable for the antenna is not just any cable. It's double-shielded, low-loss, and very flexible/easily bendable. In fact, its quality is equivalent to or better than LMR100. Coax with a black jacket has the same or better signal loss per meter and flexibility as LMR100 and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG174 and RG178. This superior quality translates into lower loss and better performance, giving you the confidence that you're using the best cable for your antenna. The cable is equivalent to LMR-100 in thickness.
The temperature range for operational use of this 100-series coax and the cable assembly is: -22 F ~ +185 F (-30 C ~ +85 C)
Compatibility:
Our high-performance SMA extension cables ensure seamless integration with wireless technologies, thanks to their 0GHz–18GHz frequency support, low VSWR, and 50 Ohm impedance compatibility. These features make them suitable for all WiFi bands at 2.4GHz and 8GHz, supporting Wi-Fi HaLow 802.11AH, 802.11AX, 802.11AC, 802.11N, 802.11G, 802.11B, and 802.11A. They also work flawlessly with LTE / 4G, GSM / 3G, and WiMax cellular networks for both data and voice. Whether it's IoT connectivity or M2M applications, our cables meet the demands of Bluetooth, ZigBee, WiFi HaLow, RFID, LoRa, LTE-m, and NB-IoT, WiFi 6, WiFi 6E. They're also fully compatible with European Helium miners, including Bobcat miners, Sensecap miners, and other Helium LongFi models—as are all our SMA-male antenna cables and adapters.
ROHS & REACH compliant: The entire product (connectors and cable) is free of heavy metals and compliant with ROHS and REACH.
SMA Connector Characteristics and Details
- SMA female connector includes a bulkhead nut and washer:
- This can be used to mount the connector (and thus the cable) on the wall of a network enclosure (to weatherproof the cable connection) or on a case, panel, or Printed Circuit Board (PCB).
- Weatherproofing: Seal the hole where the female connector is mounted by placing an O-ring between the enclosure's wall and the bulkhead nut and washer on the female connector.
- Our cables with SMA and RP-SMA female connectors have bulkhead mount hardware.
- Our standard SMA-female connector (threaded part) is 3/8 inches long. We have a more extended option, 14.5mm, which is available. The longer 14.5mm option has an O-ring embedded in the flange to waterproof the port where the cable enters a network enclosure.
SMA-male has a pin inside the connector body
- SMA-female connector fits items that have an SMA (female) jack/connector.
- SMA gender is counter-intuitive: The gender is referring to the pins inside-not the threads. SMA male has threads on inside.
- SMA female connector is also called "jack" and SMA-male is also called "plug."
- SMA is a round screw-type connector, with medium-sized, threaded coupling connectors that are rated for frequencies from the lowest (DC) up to 18GHz.
- We offer an SMA wrench to assist in installing antennas, cables and adapters with SMA or RP-SMA connector(s).
- Data Alliance's high-quality soldered terminations of SMA connectors with soldering provide a low-loss connection with discontinuities kept to a minimum.
