RP-SMA male To RP-SMA male Cable

Antenna cable: RP-SMA male To RP-SMA male

  • Both ends have an RP-SMA male connector.
  • See other lengths of RP-SMA male-to-male cables: 3-inch to 30-inch, 1 meter, 2m, 3m, 4.5m, 6m, 9m, 40ft, 50ft, 60ft.
  • The length refers to the cable size between the connectors (not including the connectors).
  • Allows interconnection of devices with RP-SMA female interfaces: Antennas, antenna cables, and wireless devices.
  • For a wide range of applications: coaxial extension for enhanced antenna positioning, coaxial interface conversion, and coax retrofit applications.

Rest assured, our RP-SMA connectors are meticulously soldered by Data Alliance, ensuring a high-quality, low-loss connection with minimal discontinuities.

The Antenna Cable Coax is double-shielded for low signal loss but is very flexible. It has a black PVC jacket.

  • The cable type is 200-series, which is equivalent to LMR-200 in quality.
  • It has the same or better signal-loss-per-meter (attenuation) and flexibility as LMR200 and much less attenuation (signal loss) than RG58.
  • The double-shielding is a major factor in this cable's higher quality, which translates into lower signal loss and better performance.
  • Rest assured, these cables are rated for outdoor use and suitable for indoor use, ensuring their durability in various environments.
  • The cable is very flexible/easily bendable coax.
  • See a comparison of 200-series to 100-series attenuation (signal loss).

Designed for durability and reliability, our 200-series coax and cable assembly can operate seamlessly in a wide temperature range of -31 F ~ +203 F (-35 C ~ +95 C), ensuring uninterrupted performance even in the most extreme weather conditions.

Compatibility with wireless applications:

Versatile RP-SMA Extension Cable Support. Covering frequencies from 0GHz to 18GHz and providing low VSWR and 50 Ohm impedance, these cables offer exceptional compatibility for:

RoHS and REACH compliant: Our antenna cables and adapters comply with RoHS 3 and REACH restrictions on heavy metals and other toxins.

RP-SMA Connector Characteristics and Details

  • RP-SMA male and female diameter:
    • RP-SMA male inside diameter is 5/16" (7.9375mm) (the inside diameter where the threads are).
    • RP-SMA female outside diameter is 5/16" (7.9375mm): Accommodates a hex nut (bulkhead nut) with a 5/16" nominal outer diameter
    • RP-SMA Gender Determination: Key PointsRP-SMA gender is counter-intuitive.
    • The gender refers to the pins inside the threads. RP-SMA male has threads on the inside.
    • As you might expect, the RP-SMA male has a socket inside rather than a pin because the RP stands for "Reverse Polarity." The socket/pin configuration is female when it appears male, and vice versa.
  • RP-SMA-Connector Materials Composition:
    • Connector Body: Gold Plated Brass
    • Center Contact: Beryllium Copper, Gold Plated
    • Crimp Ferrule: Copper, Nickel Plated
    • Insulators: PTFE
    • Precision machined for low loss in ISO 9001 facilities.
  • Other RP-SMA Characteristics and Key Points
    • RP-SMA-male is also called "plug," and SMA female connector is called "jack."
    • We offer an RP-SMA wrench to assist in installing antennas, cables, and adapters with RP-SMA or SMA connector(s).
    • RP-SMA-male connector fits items that have an SMA-female connector.
    • RP-SMA is a round screw-type connector with medium-sized, threaded coupling connectors rated for frequencies from the lowest (DC) up to 18GHz.
    • RP-SMA connectors are incompatible with the standard, commercially available Type F coaxial connector. Although they look similar, Type F connectors are slightly different in size and will not pair with RP-SMA or SMA connectors without an adapter.
