Antenna Outdoor OmniDirectional w/ N-male Right Angle
5 dBi Omni Directional Dipole Antenna with N-male fixed-right-angle connector. All versions are waterproof / suitable for outdoor use:
- In the fixed right-angle versions: The angle is sealed plastic
- The articulating / bendable angle version is also waterproof.
- Omni dipole antenna: Radiates signal with a beam of 360 degrees; also receives signal from 360 degrees around it
- Sends WiFi / wireless signal high and low enough to reach 2 levels of a building.
Compatibility with wireless standards & applications: This omni directional antenna's range of frequency band compatibility in the 2.4 ~ 2.5GHz frequency band range, its its excellent low broadband VSWR at < 1.8, and impedance matching to 50 Ohm gear, makes it suitable and compliant for all the following applications:
- IoT wireless & M2M: Bluetooth, ZigBee, Wi-Fi HaLow and ISM. Since it is vertically polarized, it is compatible with many machine to machine communication applications, remote monitoring, and telemetry applications.
- 2.4GHz WiFi applications: 802.11N, 802.11G, 802.11B, 802.11AH.

- As client antenna: Connect to access points in any direction. Portable size: Easily fits in laptop case
- As access point antenna: Provides signal to clients in all directions (360-degree horizontal beamwidth)
- Frequency Band Options: Make choice with buttons above: This antenna is not dual-band: You have to chose one band or the other: Mounts directly onto N-female connector of access point, wireless bridge, client, or booster. N is the largest of antenna connector types.
- Frequency 2.4GHz-2.5GHz (2.4GHz frequency band, which is the most common WiFi band for home routers & consumer products, and is compliant with 802.11n & 802.11g/b, and XBee devices.
- Frequency 5.1 - 5.8GHz is the other option you can choose above.
- Bottom section of antenna has fixed 90-degrees joint.

- This type of omni-directional antenna is called a dipole antenna and is also called a "rubber duck" antenna.

TEST RESULTS for FREQUENCY RANGES:
The antenna test shows stable and functional RF behavior across the evaluated frequency range, with suitable performance within the 2.4 GHz band. Around 2.42–2.45 GHz, the antenna exhibits favorable impedance matching, with Return Loss values close to –11.5 dB and an SWR of approximately 1.7:1, indicating efficient power transfer and controlled reflection losses.

N-type male Connector Characteristics and Details: Durable, weatherproof connection
- Nickel-plated brass body for enhanced corrosion resistance: Nickel plating is the most weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant metal plating.
- Our N connectors provide a consistent performance from 900MHz to 12.5 GHz.
- N-Female diameter is 0.620-inch (1.57 cm) . N-male inside diameter is 0.620-inch (1.57 cm)
- N-connector gender is counter-intuitive .
- N-Type connectors are the largest of the RF connector types , and are usually found on large antennas, especially for outdoor use.
- Our N-Type connectors feature threaded coupling mechanisms and are fully interchangeable with N-Type connectors made to the MIL-C-39012 specification. These connectors are used in all systems where excellent RF and mechanical performance is critical.

Articulating (Bendable) Right Angle: This antenna can be angled up to 90 degrees (articulating right angle) or positioned straight. The articulating (bendable) right-angle isn’t weatherproof: Water can seep into the angled part of the antenna. Articulating right-angle antennas are therefore recommendable for indoor use or protected outdoors, i.e. under an eave.
