N-male to SMA-male Cable:  65 FT

Antenna Cable:  400-series coax SMA-male N-type male Connector

  • SEE ALSO:  Other length options (many) of N-male to SMA-male cables
  • We can make any other length variation that you need.
  • Our SMA-male to N-male cables allow seamless interconnection of devices with N-female and SMA-female interfaces, including antennas, antenna cables, and various wireless devices.
  • One end has a straight SMA-male connector, and the other has an N-type male connector.
  • Our SMA-male to N-male cable is built to last, with high-quality soldered terminations of SMA and Type-N connectors. This construction ensures a low-loss connection, with discontinuities kept to a minimum.
  • For coaxial extension, coaxial interface conversion, coax retrofit applications

The coax of the cable is 400-series (LMR-400-equivalent), double-shielded with a black jacket):  Has the same or better signal-loss-per-meter (attenuation) and flexibility as LMR400. The cable is equivalent to LMR-400 in thickness.

  • The cables are rated for outdoor use and suitable for indoor use.
  • Double-shielding of LMR-400-equivalent enables low signal loss.  Double-shielding is a major factor in the higher quality of this cable, which translates into lower loss and better performance.

The temperature range for the operational use of these cable assemblies:

  • N-male to SMA-male cable assembly made with LMR-400-equivalent coax, can be used reliably in the range of –40 °C to +85 °C.
  • The connectors themselves can tolerate more extreme conditions, but the 400-series cable jacket defines the practical limit.

Wide Application Support & Protocol Compatibility:

Consistent Wireless Performance. Covering 0GHz through 18GHz, with stable broadband VSWR and a 50 Ohm impedance design, our N to SMA antenna cables provide seamless operation with the following wireless technologies:

These N to SMA cable assemblies support a broad frequency spectrum up to 18GHz, with consistent 50 Ohm impedance matching, ensuring compatibility across all of the above standards and applications.

N-male Connector Highlights

The N series is the largest RF connector family, frequently found on larger antennas (most of which feature an N-female port).

  • N-type connectors typically rate up to 12.5GHz, supporting WiFi and microwave band operations.
  • Nickel-plated brass construction provides excellent corrosion protection, outperforming most other plating types in outdoor use.
  • Gender assignment for N-connectors is not always intuitive.
  • N-male diameter measures 0.620-inch (1.57 cm).
  • Features a knurled body for secure handling.

N Connector – Materials & Build Quality

Precision Production
Built in ISO 9001-certified factories and precision-machined for minimal signal loss and reliable RF performance.

Materials Used

  • Center Pin: Gold-plated beryllium copper ensures excellent conductivity and long service life.
  • Body: Nickel-Plated Brass for superior corrosion resistance, especially in harsh outdoor conditions.
  • Insulators: Premium PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) for stable dielectric performance and heat resistance.
  • Crimp Ferrule: Nickel-plated copper to maintain a solid, weather-protected termination.

SMA Connector Information

SMA Dimensions

The SMA-male interface includes a central pin within its threaded housing.

  • SMA Gender Identification
    • Connector gender is determined by the presence of the inner pin; SMA male units have interior threads.
    • Further details on SMA gender rules are provided in our guide.

RoHS & REACH Compliance: All of our antenna cables and adapters meet the environmental safety standards of RoHS 3 and REACH, ensuring restriction of hazardous substances.
