8 dBi Omni Directional Antenna for WiFi / wireless networks

Fits most PCI wireless cards (for desktop PCs) - which have an RP-SMA female jack with Magnetic base with 130 cm. cable to RP-SMA (male) connector.

Provides signal to clients that are all in a certain direction (80-degree horizontal beamwidth)

• Omni antenna: Radiates signal with a beam of 360 degrees; also receives signal from 360 degrees around it
• As client antenna: Connect to an access point in a certain direction.
• Compliant with 802.11b & 802.11g (North America, Europe, Australia). 2.4GHz frequency band
• Mounts directly onto RP-SMA (female) connector of access point, bridge, client, or booster
• Easy to make weatherproof.

• IoT wireless & M2M: Bluetooth, ZigBee, and ISM . Since it is vertically polarized, it is compatible with many machine to machine communication applications, remote monitoring, and telemetry applications.

Magnetic Mount antenna base very firmly attaches to metal surface - at a height or position where it can pick up more access points. We recommend our steel window mount with suction cups: $8.99 (sold separately) Just put some clear caulk or other sealer where the antenna meets the base.

RP-SMA Connector Characteristics and Details:

• RP-SMA = Reverse Polarity SMA . Also known as SMA-RP, SMA-R, SMA RP, SMA R.
• RP-SMA gender is counter-intuitive: The gender is referring to the pins inside-not the threads. RP-SMA male have threads on the inside. More details regarding RP-SMA gender determination.
• RP-SMA-male is also called "plug" and the respective female connectors are also called a " jack."
• RP-SMA are round screw-type connectors, with medium-sized, threaded coupling connectors that are rated for frequencies from the lowest (DC) up to 18GHz.
• RP-SMA male connector fits items that have an RP-SMA (female) jack/connector.
