Omni-Directional 5G + 4G Outdoor Antenna w/ Mount Bracket
Omni-Directional Multi-band Cellular Antenna operates in the 4G and5G band range 698 to 6000 MHz.
Rugged, high-performance 5G LTE omni-directional antenna designed for outdoor applications requiring broad, uniform signal coverage. With a powerful 12 dBi gain, this antenna enhances wireless network performance by extending range and improving signal stability across the 5G and 4G cellular frequency spectrums.
Built for durability in harsh environments, the AMO12Nf features a weatherproof ABS radome, making it ideal for outdoor installations such as industrial networks, point-to-multipoint setups, and Wi-Fi deployments in challenging conditions. Its N-female connector ensures a secure and reliable connection to compatible access points, routers, or wireless adapters.
- LTE 5G, 4G & GSM /3G: This is a broadband design for 5G, 4G / LTE and 3G / GSM systems. 5G and 4G networks are domestic LTE, and the 700 MHz band is used by AT&T Mobility and Verizon.
- Global LTE: 2600 MHz band (2.6GHz)
- GSM bands 824-894 and 1850.2 - 1909.8 (US and Latin America / Mexico)
- LoRa / LoRaWAN & Wi-Fi HaLow 900MHz. Wi-Fi HaLow 802.11AH
- 900MHz ISM Band can also operate on other VHF and UHF frequencies within the ISM frequency bands.
- IoT wireless & M2M: Compatible with many machine-to-machine communication applications, remote monitoring, and telemetry applications using LTE-m, 4G / LTE, 3G / GSM, and LoRa. (Compatible because it is vertically polarized).
It is ideal for 5G and 4G applications with no ground plane or metal surface. Its mechanically robust design is suitable for outdoor applications, including marine environments. It has a wide bandwidth and a low-angle radiation pattern superior to traditional gain antennas in most applications.
Use Cases
- 5G/4G LTE Routers & Modems: Enhances signal strength and bandwidth.
- Fixed Wireless Access (FWA): Provides strong reception for homes or businesses using LTE/5G broadband.
- IoT Gateways: Used in industrial or agricultural settings where strong and stable signal reception is needed.
- Surveillance Systems: Provides consistent connectivity for cameras in outdoor or remote locations.
- RV or Marine Connectivity: Durable construction can support signal reception on the move or in remote docking locations.
Mounting / Installation Options: Through-hole Mount, Pole mount.
Mount Options: See our mount options for antennas with an N-connector (Type-N connector)
- With & without the L-bracket mount: It can be mounted on the ceiling or surface of an enclosure.
- It can be mounted on a wall, on the side of an enclosure, on a fender, or another vertical object.
- If mounted in a locked enclosure, it cannot be removed by a vandal or thief because the nut for the N-female connector is on the inside.
- Pole-mounting bracket with U-Bolts: Diameter of Installation Pole: Ø30 to Ø50mm

CLOSELY RELATED ANTENNA VERSIONS
- Same Frequency Range (698–6000 MHz), Lower Gain (8dBi or 10dBi)
- Use case: When high gain (12dBi) is excessive for short-range or indoor deployments.
- Pros: Broader vertical beamwidth, more tolerant of antenna tilt and positioning.
- Example:
- 8dBi Multiband Omnidirectional Antenna
Frequency: 698–2700 MHz or extended to 6000 MHz
Connector: N-Female
Mount: Wall or pole
Applications: Mobile hotspots, urban IoT deployments.
- Same Gain (12dBi), Panel/Dome Directional or Semi-Directional Version
- Use case: If you need more focused coverage (e.g., point-to-point, specific sector).
- Pros: Higher effective gain in a direction, less noise.
- Example:
- 12dBi Multiband Panel Antenna
Frequency: 698–6000 MHz
Connector: N-Female or SMA
Mount: Wall/pole with tilt adjustment
Beamwidth: 60–90° horizontal
Applications: Indoor DAS, focused long-distance outdoor connectivity.
- Same Type (Omni), Wider or Narrower Frequency Ranges
- 698–2700 MHz Omni Antennas: Older LTE-only use, cheaper, still good for LTE/3G fallback.
- 3400–6000 MHz Omni Antennas: Tailored for 5G NR sub-6 GHz (CBRS, n77, n78).
- Alternate Connector Versions
- SMA-Female or TNC-Female versions
- For direct compatibility with modems and routers with SMA ports.
- Requires fewer or no adapters.
- N-Male versions
- Useful for plugging directly into N-female enclosures or cables.
- Magnetic-Mount & Indoor Variants
- Designed for temporary installations or where outdoor mounting isn't practical.
- Lower gain (typically 3–9 dBi) but portable and less conspicuous.
- Often SMA or TS9 connector for direct modem use.
- MIMO & Multi-Connector Variants
- 2x2 or 4x4 MIMO omnidirectional antennas
- Includes two or four radiating elements for modern 4G/5G modems.
- Can be bundled in a single radome or appear as separate antennas.
- Applications: High-speed LTE-A and 5G routers requiring spatial diversity.
- Marine/Heavy-Duty Versions
- Same 698–6000 MHz range with 12dBi gain, but built for saltwater resistance and vibration-heavy environments (boats, RVs, etc.).
- Mounting: Rail, mast, or marine-thread mount.
- Often feature rugged fiberglass radome.
N materials composition:
- Connector Body: Nickel-Plated Brass: The most corrosion-resistant plated brass alloys (better than gold-plated).
- Center Contact: Beryllium Copper, Gold Plated
- Crimp Ferrule: Copper, Nickel Plated
