BNC Male to Male Cable
- Both ends have a BNC male ("plug") connector. BNC male is also known as BNC plug.
- 50 ohm cable optimized for wireless applications.
- BNC cables for wireless applications are 50 Ohm: See all of our 50 Ohm BNC cables for wireless applications
- See our BNC male to male cables (75 Ohm) for Video and Audio applications
Cable is double-shielded (both versions: LMR100-equivalent and LMR200-equivalent see below), low-loss and very flexible/easily bendable coax with black jacket. The double-shielding is a major factor in the higher quality of this cable, which translates into lower loss/better performance.
- The 1FT, 2FT, 3FT, 4FT and 6FT versions are made with LMR-100-equivalent cable-type: It's equivalent or better than LMR100: Has the same or better signal-loss-per-meter and flexibility as LMR100, and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG174 and RG178. The higher quality of the cable of this antenna translates into lower loss/better performance. Cable is equivalent to LMR-100 in thickness: Very flexible/easily bendable
- The 8FT, 10FT (3-meter) and longer versions are made with LMR-200-equivalent cable-type that is equivalent or better than LMR200: Has the same or better signal-loss-per-meter and flexibility as LMR200, and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG58.
- Nickel-plated brass body for enhanced corrosion resistance: Nickel plating is the most weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant metal plating.
The temperature range for operational use of these cable assemblies are as follows:
- Cables with 100-series coax: -22 F ~ +185 F (-30 C ~ +85 C)
- Cables with 200-series coax: -31 F ~ +203 F (-35 C ~ +95 C)
Lead-free and ROHS compliant: The entire product is ROHS compliant (connectors and cable).
BNC cables for Video and Audio are 75 Ohm: See our BNC cables for Video and Audio:
- BNC Male to Female Cables (75 Ohm): Video and Audio applications
- BNC Male to Male cables (75 Ohm): Video and Audio applications
BNC male to BNC female cable can be connected to BNC male to BNC female extension cable as a BNC extender to create increasing lengths of cord. A BNC cable extension is a staple component in professional video equipment set ups.
BNC connectors connect with a half-turn. Gender is determined by the inside wire - not the outside connector. BNC is a Round connector with slotted mating collar. Quick-disonnect connector for coaxial cable: It is not only used for Wireless Antenna extensions, but also for video, audio, and networking coax applications.
BNC (Bayonet Neill–Concelman) is a miniature quick release and quick connect RF connector. The female connector has two lugs that latch positively or in reverse with a quarter turn to quickly connect or disconnect. Connectors largely have a brass body, they may feature gold plating for external use to increase durability, and nickel plating for terminating onto a soldered circuit board. The connectors are lightweight and reliable.
Data Alliance's high-quality soldered terminations of BNC connectors with soldering provide a low-loss connection with discontinuities kept to a minimum.
BNC connectors are available for commercial, military and industrial use. BNC was originally developed for the military, it has now gained popularity for use in RF and video signal equipment. Some common applications of BNC connectors and cables are:
- Aerospace electronics
- Antennas
- Automotive wireless devices
- Broadcast (75 Ω)
- Cable Modems
- Computer LAN equipment
- Medical Equipment
- Parallel and serial video signal devices
- Telecom
