U.FL to FME-male Cable

Antenna cable with an FME-male connector on one end and a U.FL female right angle connector on the other end.

One end has a U.FL male connector (mates with U.FL-LP-66), and the other end has an FME-male (RFE-6000) connector.

U.FL mates with U.FL antenna jacks, found on many miniPCI cards & Router Boards. Cable-connector U.FL-LP-66, can be found on mini-PCI wireless cards such as: Intel PRO / wireless 2200BG Network Connection (WM3B2200BG).

The length refers to the length of the cable between the connectors (not including the connectors).

Cable is double-shielded for low signal-loss, and is very flexible/easily bendable. Coaxial cable type is similar to LMR-100 but better quality than LMR100: Coax with black jacket has the same or better signal-loss-per-meter and flexibility as LMR100, and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG174. The double-shielding is a major factor in the higher quality of this cable, translates into lower loss/better performance. Cable is equivalent to LMR-100 in thickness. This cable is rated for outdoor use and is also suitable for indoor use.

FME (For Mobile Equipment) is a miniature 50 Ohm RF connector with excellent performance from DC to 2.0 GHz. FME is primarily used with RG-58 or equivalent coaxial cables employed in mobile applications and installations. FME female's narrow, cone-like shape allows FME cables to be snaked through the often tight access holes or spaces of a vehicle to the desired equipment location(s) where an FME male adapter to the required equipment connector series is fitted to the female cable connector. FME-female connectors have a nickel-plated brass body for enhanced corrosion resistance: This is the most weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant plating.
