Ubiquiti® Ethernet Surge Protector

Ethernet Surge Protector ESD Protection for Outdoor High-Speed Networks

Damaging electrostatic discharge attacks and surges are diverted to the ETH-SP-G2 and safely discharged into the ground, so network devices are protected.

Additional ESD Protection

All Ubiquiti® airMAX® devices are equipped with built-in ESD protection, so the ETH SP adds another layer of protection to your outdoor, high-speed network.

  • Plug and Play Installation
  • Connect the ground and Ethernet cables in between your network devices.

Cost-effective solution for protecting outdoor Ethernet devices from damaging electrostatic discharge and surges.

The ETH-SP-G2 is engineered to protect Power over Ethernet (PoE) or non-PoE devices with connection speeds of up to 1 Gbps. Two passive, surge-protected RJ45 connections provide maximum equipment compatibility.

Ideal for WISP Networks

All Ubiquiti airMAX devices are equipped with ESD protection. However, to protect outdoor devices, and to meet certain local code requirements, installing the ETH-SP-G2 is essential. For example, to guard against costly service calls, and to help your subscriber.

Nickel-plated brass body for enhanced corrosion resistance: Nickel plating is the most weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant metal plating.
