U.FL female right-angle connector mates with U.FL antenna jacks of miniPCI wireless cards & RouterBoards such as: Intel PRO, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, and ZigBee radios such as XBee: This pigtail enables connection of an external antenna to a mini-PCI wireless card with a female HiRose/U.FL connector U.FL-LP-66 connector.

Cable is 1.13mm mini-coaxial cable (50 Ohm): This is a very thin and flexible cable, with a black jacket. When connecting U.FL connector to a jack on a miniPCI card or board, often the tight space requires the use of 1.13mm cable, because it is very thin and flexible. The very thin cable is typically needed in tight spaces inside of enclosures, so that the U.FL connector will snap down on the jack without popping off. The 10-inch version is made with the LMR-100-equivalent cable-type which is equivalent or better than LMR100A: Cable is double-shielded, low-loss and very flexible/easily bendable coax with black jacket. The double-shielding is a major factor in the higher quality of this cable, which translates into lower loss/better performance. Has the same or better signal-loss-per-meter and flexibility as LMR100A, and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG174 and RG178. The higher quality of the cable of this antenna translates into lower loss/better performance. Cable is equivalent to LMR-100 in thickness. This coax is rated for outdoor use and is also suitable for indoor use

These work great, though I do wish they had even shorter extensions. I purchased the 1.5" cable but a 1 inch or even .75 inch would have worked better, but still this was a great fix for bridging my newly installed half-height wifi card in my old HP nc8430 to its original antennas after replacing the old full-height card.

This product works perfectly! :-) When upgrading an older laptop's PCIe mini Intel WiFi Card, you need to get a metal adapter for the new half height cards to fit in the older laptop's full height slot. Amazon carries these adapters and just google search half to full height adapter to find them. They are about $4 bucks each. Once WiFi card is installed with the adapter, the half height card is lower than the original full height card, and the WiFi antenna wires from the laptop won't reach. This extension works and gives you the additional space that you need. I purchased 3 - 6 inch extensions since some cards have 2 wires and others have 3. The wires were longer than expected. I wanted 3 inch extensions but they aren't available from data alliance. I think some other site carries a 3 inch version, but I trust data alliance's quality more. I had to wrap the 6 inch wires with electrical tape since they were too long. All in all, if you are looking to upgrade an old wireless n card to wireless ac and bring new life into an older laptop, this solution works perfectly! :-) Thanks for carrying this product! :-)
