SMA Male to Female Cable:  18 inches to 30 in.

Antenna Cable: SMA Female to SMA male Extender: One end has an SMA-male and the other end has an SMA-female connector.

The length refers to the length of the cable between the connectors (not including the connectors).

Cable is double-shielded, low-loss and very flexible/easily bendable coax with black jacket. The double-shielding is a major factor in the higher quality of this cable, which translates into lower loss/better performance. Rated for outdoor use and suitable for indoor use.

Data Alliance's high-quality soldered terminations of SMA connectors with soldering provide a low-loss connection with discontinuities kept to a minimum.

We offer two options of thickness of cable (both are double-shielded):

  • The LMR-100-equivalent cable-type is equivalent or better than LMR100: Has the same or better signal-loss-per-meter and flexibility as LMR100, and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG174 and RG178. The higher quality of the cable translates into lower loss/better performance. Cable is equivalent to LMR-100 in thickness. Recommended tightest continuous bend radius is 1.1 inch (28mm).
  • The LMR-200-equivalent cable-type is equivalent or better than LMR200: Has the same or better signal-loss-per-meter and flexibility as LMR200, and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG58.
  • Comparison of attenuation (signal loss) of LMR-100 and LMR-200.

The temperature range for operational use of these cable assemblies are as follows:

  • Cables with 100-series coax: -22 F ~ +185 F (-30 C ~ +85 C)
  • Cables with 200-series coax: -31 F ~ +203 F (-35 C ~ +95 C)

SMA female connector includes a bulkhead nut and washer for mounting and/or weatherproofing the connector / port:

SMA Female Version Options SMA Elongated
The version of the SMA female connector on the left has an embedded o-ring, together with a wider flange, for more secure protection against intrusion of water and/or dust and dirt. It is available for some of our "stocked" SMA cable versions, and others by special order. The longer SMA-female version (top in photo) has a 14.5mm threaded section. It is available for some of our "stocked" SMA cable versions, and others by special order.

SMA-male has a pin inside the connector body

Compatibility with wireless applications: Our SMA extension cables' range of frequency band compatibility (from 0GHz to 18GHz), consistently low broadband VSWR, and impedance matching to 50 Ohm cables, makes them compatible, suitable and compliant for all the following applications:

ROHS 3 & REACH: Compliant with restrictions on content of lead, other heavy metals and toxins.

    Exactly the part I needed

Posted by MK on 20th Jul 2016

I needed to extend several antennas from their mounting on a base unit to the outside of a case the base unit was mounted within. These cables matched perfectly and made the job an ease. And, for less money that it would have cost me to make them up myself. I was impressed with the selection offered, and the speedy delivery.
