The cable is a very durable, which flattens when a window or door is closed on it; it can easily withstand the rigors of windows & doors being closed on it over and over again.
Compatibility: This SMA extension cables' range of frequency band compatibility (from 0GHz to 18GHz), consistently low broadband VSWR, and impedance matching to 50 Ohm cables, makes them suitable and compliant for all the following applications:
- This antenna cable is compatible with all Helium miners used in Europe. Note that Helium miners used in Europe have an SMA-female antenna connector.
- All of our antenna cables and adapters with SMA-male connectors are compatible with all Helium miners used in Europe.

SMA-male has a pin inside the connector body

- SMA-female connector fits items that have an SMA (female) jack/connector.
- SMA gender is counter-intuitive: Please observe picture & note it is correct. The gender is referring to the pins inside-not the threads. SMA male has threads on inside. More details regarding SMA gender determination.
- SMA female connector is also called "jack" and SMA-male is also called "plug."
- SMA is a round screw-type connector, with medium-sized, threaded coupling connectors that are rated for frequencies from the lowest (DC) up to 18GHz.
- We offer an SMA wrench to assist in installing antennas, cables and adapters with SMA or RP-SMA connector(s).

Works great!
I purchased this product so I could bring in an external antenna for my 2m/70cm HT amateur radio into my office window. The product slipped perfectly under my external screen and window and I am able to fully close my window now during the winter! Signal appears to be the same and I'm transmitting/receiving just fine. Great product!
