Antenna Cable: U.FL To N-male: One end has a U.FL connector, and the other end has a N-male connector. The length refers to the length of the cable between the connectors (not including the connectors).
Cable type is 1.13 for the six-inch cable LMR-100 equivalent for the 8-inch and longer cables.
The LMR-100 equivalent type (for 18-inch cable) is double-shielded, low-loss and very flexible/easily bendable coax with black jacket (200-series is much more flexible than 400-series). The double-shielding is a major factor in the higher quality of this cable, which translates into lower loss (less attenuation) amd thus better performance. This cable is rated for outdoor use and is also suitable for indoor use.
The N (male) end of this adapter/pigtail fits many large antennas: N is the largest of RF connector types, and very common to see on large antennas. N-type connectors are usually rated up to 12.5GHz, making them usable in not just WiFi applications, but also in the higher end of the microwave spectrum. Most large antennas have an N-female connector.
Lead-free and ROHS compliant: The entire product is ROHS compliant (connectors and cable).
Gender of N-male is counter-intuitive: Please observe picture & note it is correct.
U.FL connector mates with cable-connector U.FL-LP-66, found on mini-PCI wireless cards such as Ubiquiti, MikroTik cards, Intel PRO.
This cable enables connection of an external antenna to a mini-PCI wireless card or board with a female hirose/U. FL connector: U.FL-LP-66 connector.
