N-female To SMA-male Cable

Antenna Cable / Adapter: N-type female connector to SMA-male connector

  • Our N-female to SMA-male cable is not just another cable. It's a unique solution with distinct features. One end is equipped with an SMA-male connector, while the other boasts an N-type female connector, complete with a waterproof/weatherproof o-ring for added durability.

  • For coaxial extension (for better antenna positioning), coaxial interface conversion, coax retrofit applications
  • Our N to SMA antenna cable is not just any cable. It's meticulously crafted by Data Alliance, featuring high-quality soldered terminations of SMA and Type-N connectors. This ensures a low-loss connection with discontinuities kept to a minimum, providing reliable and consistent performance.

Compatibility with wireless applications: Our N to SMA antenna cable's range of frequency band compatibility (from 0GHz to 18GHz), consistently low broadband VSWR, and impedance matching to 50 Ohm gear makes them compatible and compliant for all the following applications:

Antenna Cable Coax is double-shielded, low-loss, and very flexible. Two options that are both rated for outdoor use and are also suitable for indoor use:

  • The 100-series cable-type is equivalent or better than LMR-100: Coax with black jacket has the same or better signal-loss-per-meter and flexibility as LMR100, and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG174. The higher quality of the cable of this antenna translates into lower loss/better performance.
  • The 200-series is equivalent or better than LMR-200: Double the thickness of 100-series, with much lower signal loss, but less flexibility.

The temperature range for the operational use of these cable assemblies is as follows:

  • Cables with 100-series coax: -22 F ~ +185 F (-30 C ~ +85 C)
  • Cables with 200-series coax: -31 F ~ +203 F (-35 C ~ +95 C)

• Rest assured, our antenna cables and adapters are RoHS and REACH compliant. This means they adhere to the strictest standards, ensuring the absence of heavy metals and other toxins and guaranteeing the safety and reliability of our products.

N-type Connector Characteristics and Details: Durable, weatherproof connection

  • The N-female bulkhead connector has a rubber O-ring, which provides a watertight seal when installed in an enclosure port.
  • Nickel-plated brass body for enhanced corrosion resistance: Nickel plating is the most weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant metal plating.
  • Our N connectors provide a consistent performance from 900MHz to 12.5 GHz.
  • N-Female diameter is 0.620-inch (1.57 cm). N-male inside diameter is 0.620-inch (1.57 cm)
  • N-connector gender is counter-intuitive: Click here for details.
  • N-type connectors are the most prominent RF connector types and are usually found on large antennas, especially for outdoor use.
  • Our N-Type connectors feature threaded coupling mechanisms and are fully interchangeable with N-Type connectors made to the MIL-C-39012 specification. These connectors are used in all systems with critical RF and mechanical performance.
