Unlike antenna cables (which lose signal proportionate with length of cable), this USB extension cable does not lose any signal - and so gives you the full benefit of the signal strength of your USB wireless client.  With this cable, you will not have to have a USB extension connection exposed outdoors

Using this cable, you can place your Alfa USB wireless client high above your PC and/or outside where it can receive and transmit WiFi signals much better.
